Tips to Decorating a Christmas Tree
Decorating a big tree can be very scary and daunting. But here are some pointers that I use to decorating my Christmas tree.
BEFORE
LAYER
First, add a foundation that serves as a background on your tree. What do I mean? Add something that gives your tree dimension. Like ribbon, garland, or beads. Add this as your FIRST element! That’s key. Put that foundation on first then add your ornaments, bows, etc. This gives a really nice layering effect.
COLOR SCHEME
Always decide your colors and STICK TO THEM. If you want a tree that looks really good, stick to your color scheme…no matter WHAT!
Add a variety of ornaments.
Okay so all ball shaped ornaments are fine, but it you want a STYLISH BEAUTIFUL tree, add a variety of ornaments! It’s like a home, plain is okay but mixing and matching different accessories adds flavor.
