You guys have heard me say so many times how important taking care of your skin is. As many of you know, I have super sensitive skin. I love trying new products, but I have to be very particular about what products I use on my skin.
I’m so excited that Shortlist Beauty has sent me some of their products to try. Shortlist is a premium new brand of beauty products. Their goal is to simplify ingredients while providing only required ingredients to achieve your ultimate skin care. Shortlist prides itself on achieving clearer skin with fewer lines, even complexion, and stronger, healthier skin with fewer ingredients.
Their mission resonates with me because having super sensitive skin, I don’t like to use products with tons of ingredients in them.
After using the products, I have to say that I am very pleased with them. One thing I like about Shortlist products is that they have zero parabens, phthalates, sulfates, colorants, fragrances or mineral oils. Also, there is no irritation. I love the fact that the products have less ingredients which means a more simplified skin care regiment. As the saying goes, “Less is more.”
They have two products to choose from and they work better together. I have been using them first thing in the morning after washing my face. I apply the serum first. It strengthens your skin’s protective barrier, stimulates natural repair mechanisms, increases moisture and boosts collagen. Then for Step 2, I apply the cream, which rejuvenates the surface of the skin by increasing cell turnover and encourages surface cellular repair to repair the signs of aging.
I have to say that Shortlist is a simple yet effective option for those who are seeking clean products and particularly for those of us with sensitive skin.
