1. DIY CHALK CLIPBOARD
Chalk Clipboards are so handy for notes and to-do list! All you need is a clipboard, which I purchased from Dollar Tree but you can also get here, and chalk contact paper. Wrap the clipboard in contact paper (as shown in the video) and be sure to cut & lay the sides. Cut out a square around the metal clip and that it’s! It’s super easy and now you can write your daily notes or lists on here with chalk paint!
2. DIY MAGNET BOOKMARK
This bookmark can help you remember where you left off in your book! Using scrapbook paper, fold the paper and draw an arrow on the edge that is folded, as shown in the video. Then cut out the arrow. Attach small magnets to the end with tape. Or use these self adhesive thin magnets which are so much better! That’s it! Perfect little bookmark that help keep track of where you left off reading.
3. DIY GOLD BOXES
I wanted to create a dupe of the Celeste boxes from ZGallerie. I found two white boxes, one came from Ikea and another from Michael’s. Similar boxes can be found here. Using this gold contact paper, I cut out a strip to stick along the middle of the box and the lid lining each of them up together as shown in the video. I did this for both boxes and it came out so cute! It is super easy decor and glam storage.
4. DIY Chalk Serving Runner
Chalk runners are so great for parties! Using a piece of foam board, cut the size runner you want, whether big or small. Cover the foam board with chalk contact paper. Wrap the corners and sides around the back as shown in the video. And that’s it! Write what you’re serving on the runner with chalk paint and start your party! Servings different types of wines, just write the name of each wine on the runner!
5. DIY CHALK TAGS
Chalk tags are so handy for naming items around your home from boxes and bins to pantry storage. Using chalk contact paper, you can create a ton of tags from one roll! Cut the size tag you want out of the contact paper and write on your label with chalk paint. This is an easy and super cheap way to create hundreds of chalk tags for your home projects!
