4 Time-Saving Hacks to Prepare for Baby
This post has been sponsored by Gerber. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Let’s face it, once baby is here, time goes ten thousand miles per hour! Literally! One day your baby is born, and the next day, your baby will be one year old!
Decisions on diapers, wipes, and formulas come to mind when you’re pregnant. That is why today, I’m partnering with Gerber and sharing my 4 Time Saving Hacks to Prepare for Baby.
1. Organize All Baby Things
When a baby comes into the picture, things can become a wreck in all of 2 seconds, so organization is needed now more than ever! To be honest, babies are so precious, but their stuff can take over your life if you let it. Your life changes and baby clutter piles up like none other. There are the onesies and sleepers, diapers and wipes, bibs, bottles, swings, receiving blankets, burp cloths, and… the list goes on and on. The amount of things that will come into your home after baby can be overwhelming. Life can quickly move from nesting to a continuously uphill battle of trying to control the baby clutter.
The key is to NOT let BABY CLUTTER TAKE OVER YOUR LIFE. Organizing baby stuff allows for more functional and easy flow. I’ve found that my productivity and efficiency level skyrockets when everything’s in its place. Organizing all of baby’s things prior to baby arriving will help to improve life at home with baby. 2. Have Doubles
Having a set of doubles of baby’s things cuts down on so much time for me! For instance, having double sleepsuits or jumpsuits cuts down on washing. Because I have doubles or more of most items, I do not have to run the wash daily. And that is a huge time saver for me!
3. Research Formulas and have some on Hand
One time saving hack is to go ahead and research formulas and have some on hand especially if you plan on formula feeding or supplemental feeding with formula.
In doing some research, I found that Gerber® Good Start® SoothePro formula is a great product to have handy in case you have a baby with digestive issues. It is a one solution formula for six common digestive issues: colic, crying, fussiness, gas, mild spit-ups, and uncomfortable poops. It is a formula that helps promote gut health and provides gentle, easy to digest proteins for tiny tummies! Clinically shown to reduce fussiness as early as the first bottle and is designed to ease colic, excessive crying, gas, mild spit-ups, and uncomfortable poops.
In addition it’s modeled after the complete nutrition and gentleness of breast milk. It provides comfort for baby’s tiny tummy which is comforting for moms. This formula is a great go to for relieving your baby and keeping them happy with a healthy tummy.
You can find Gerber SoothePro formula at your local Walmart. It is a great formula to have handy.
4. Feeding Stations
Whether breastfeeding or formula feeding, having a feeding station will save you a lot of time in the future! Things to have handy are: your breastfeeding gear, bottles, a bottle warmer, and formula. You probably should also have some water handy as well. Having feeding stations is definitely a time saver, especially for those middle of the night feedings!
